The quality and consistency of our Standard Premium cigars are equal to or better than any at their price point. The tobacco quality and the construction quality are remarkable.
We have been sourcing our current line of Standard Premium cigars from a small farm/factory in Nicaragua since 2017 (more about them further down this page).
We have imported and purchased cigars from factories in the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua since 1997. Our present source of Standard Premium cigars exceeds all others in both product and service.

Nicaragua has soil and weather condition comparable to Cuba, which makes it ideal for growing tobacco. Nicaragua has some of the most fertile soil for tobacco, so manufacturers are increasingly sourcing their tobacco from various regions in Nicaragua.
The Jalapa valley area is in the Nueva Segovia Department and is one of the 4 regions in Nicaragua known for producing world-class tobacco. The Jalapa valley has granular and reddish-brown soils that produce complex and wonderfully aromatic tobacco.
Family owned and operated, the farm acreage and factory is located in the Jalapa valley. They operate a tight low-overhead business that allows them to produce high-quality cigars for a very reasonable price. Exactly the type of producer we look for.
There are four major tobacco growing regions in Nicaragua: Esteli, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe. Each of these regions possess different soil and climatic conditions, which imbue its tobacco with a variety of characteristics.
